The classes have helped me to grow as a person and as a leader in our business. There is no one way of doing things at DFS, and I celebrate the fact that we are encouraged to think creatively, be curious and always question how we can do better. At DFS, we work closely with our managers. They appreciate us and boost our morale and there is always a spirit of partnership and teamwork. Every time someone asks me where I work, I proudly say that I work for DFS and I am very happy to be associated with this company. DFS provides all the needs and proper training necessary. For example, I am so excited to be part of Managing the Team training, hosted by LVMH in Hong Kong in July.
I have been with DFS for 16 years. I was fortunate enough to experience a full-cycle career: from part-time Retail Operations Associate in Sydney to now General Manager for Japan. Over the years, I have loved working with the people and have been exposed to many different nationalities. Everyone you meet has something to offer and you have the ability to impact people’s lives and put a smile on their face. DFS is a dynamic company, continuously evolving and we face different challenges every day. It is quite humbling for me to lead such a wonderful group of people and I love creating memories with the people I work with and our customers.

I started my career at DFS in Hong Kong in 2007 and now I am in Macau. What motivates me about DFS is that every year we have new challenges and different things and opportunities to try. It is a dynamic work environment and I love the diversity. It is an ever-changing environment. I know that for future career development, DFS will positively surprise me.
Client Service Manager
I have seen a rapid growth in my career at DFS. I started as a Personal Shopper at Waikiki and I am now a Client Services Manager in Saipan. I love my interaction with customers and my team. The relationship building is very rewarding and there is a strong desire within me to maximize my potential. The people here at DFS are fascinating, genuine, inspiring and intellectual. They are very open-minded and warm. Curiosity is a very good quality in individuals and I’m glad that it is a part of our Beliefs. As Steve Jobs said, “I would like to make a dent in the universe” and DFS provides no limits in achieving this.
Originally from the Philippines, I have been working in Abu Dhabi for five years now. I have been an Employee of the Month and was chosen as a Chairman’s Club winner. What I like most about my job is that every day is a learning process. Every day you interact with different people, with different cultures, different languages and different behaviors. What makes DFS a special place is the way they value their people. They believe in us.
